Job summary

A fast-growing healthcare business in the UK is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to lead inventory management for a diverse portfolio of products. Your role will involve developing inventory strategies, ensuring accurate stock levels, and managing an on-site team. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in healthcare or FMCG, and demonstrates excellent project management and data-driven decision-making skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in inventory management, ideally within pharma, skincare, or FMCG.
• Proven track record of managing a mix of bought in and assembled stock items.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

About the role:

Step into a key leadership role at the heart of a fast-growing, innovative healthcare business. As Inventory Manager at HeliosX, you ll take ownership of our UK inventory across a diverse portfolio of Pharmaceutical and Skincare products, leading an on-site team and collaborating closely with our operations, finance, supply chain, and systems teams. What you'll be doing:

• Line Management of a team of Inventory Controllers
• Develop and implement inventory strategy and philosophy across all Helios X sites
• Ensure stock is available to meet growing demand
• Data driven with the ability to master complex business problems
• Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to design and implement a strategy that drives business results
• Proven track record of working with ERP systems is a plus, particularly Sage X3
• Advanced Excel / Google Sheet skills
• op KPIs to monitor ongoing inventory health
• Assess current inventory processes (receipt, put away, replenishment, despatches, damages and resends) to ensure fitness for purpose and ensure they are updated as necessary
• Liaison with finance team to ensure accurate month end reporting and ongoing stock counts
• Manage senior stakeholder communication around inventory health, risks and strategy
• Develop ERP system expertise

What you'll bring to the role:

• 5+ years experience in inventory management, ideally within pharma, skincare, or FMCG
• Proven track record of managing a mix of bought in and assembled stock items
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Commercially astute, data-driven, and highly organised
• Experience working in a scale-up or high-growth environment a plus
• Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to design and implement a strategy that drives business results
• Rigorous attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
