Let's be honest.
If your idea of inventory management is running a stock count once a month and hoping the numbers match, this probably isn't for you.
If, however, you get a strange sense of satisfaction from stock accuracy, love digging into data, can spot an inventory issue before it becomes a customer complaint, and genuinely enjoy building high-performing teams... keep reading.
We're supporting our client on the search for an Inventory Manager to lead the stock function within a large-scale, highly automated distribution operation supporting a globally recognised fashion brand.
This is a business where inventory isn't just important - it's everything.
You'll be responsible for managing inventory across an operation holding up to 4 million units, processing around 100,000 units every week, ensuring stock integrity, customer confidence and operational performance remain at the highest possible standard.
You'll own the inventory function from end to end.
That means:
Because robots are brilliant... until they aren't.
This is the important bit.
We are not looking for an Operations Manager who happens to have stock responsibility.
We are looking for a genuine Inventory Manager.
Someone whose career has been built around:
You'll have experience managing large stock volumes and complex inventory environments where accuracy really matters.
You'll also bring:
This role is Monday to Friday.
But inventory doesn't always work Monday to Friday.
There will be occasions where stock counts, investigations, projects or team support require flexibility across shifts and weekends.
We're looking for someone who understands that inventory leadership means owning the result, not watching the clock.
Because you'll be joining one of the leading logistics providers and taking ownership of an inventory operation where your expertise genuinely matters.
This isn't a role where you'll be hidden in spreadsheets all day.
You'll be influencing customers, leading people, improving processes, driving accuracy and making sure millions of units are exactly where they should be.
If stock accuracy, automation, analytics and leadership are your thing, we'd love to hear from you.
