Job summary

JJ Foodservice is seeking a Stock Controller for Day Shift to join our friendly warehouse team on a permanent contract. You will help ensure products are coded, stored in correct locations, and stock is rotated to minimise loss.

The role requires experience in a similar role, good communication and team spirit, and the ability to lift items. We offer training, progression opportunities, and benefits including holiday entitlement and a profit-share scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role.
• Excellent people skills and being a great team player.
• Good communication skills.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
• Physically active nature due to heavy lifting.
• A good standard of spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products are coded/labeled correctly and stored at the correct location.
• Ensure stock rotation to minimize loss through short dated items.
• Store items safely in the correct location.
• Ensure stock rotation to minimize loss through short dated items.
• Check stock for damage, loss or short dated items and report as required.
• Coordinate and prepare for stock taking process.
• Manual handling – lifting or moving products as required.
• Physical requirements – pushing and pulling the trolley to carry items.
