About the role:

This is a 3 month fixed term contract with a view of extending

As a member of the exciting and varied JCB Service inventory team, you will be responsible for an exciting and varied portfolio of suppliers, covering a number of key commodity areas, supporting JCB’s dealers & customers globally.

Availability is critical to JCB’s drive for the industry’s finest customer support; you will be responsible for the management of the inbound supply chain across a suite of suppliers, including reviewing risk of run-out, issuing schedules to suppliers, tackling overdue concerns, and developing suppliers to better support aftermarket requirements.

What does this role involve day to day?

· Planning and scheduling of forecast requirements from suppliers

· Maintenance of part data quality on forecasting, and lead-times

· Urgent response time to internal Techweb system requirements

· Proactive expediting of parts for customer shortages and vehicle off road requirements (VOR)

· Responding to customer demands, and ensuring parts are available.

· Managing supplier relationships across your area of responsibility

· Prompt resolution on goods-inbound discrepancies

· Working with cross-functional teams to deliver the best solution for the customer

This will be suited to you if

· You have previous experience in a planning role

· You have knowledge of aftermarket parts business

· You have SAP experience

· You have Syncron knowledge
