Job Title: Inventory Controller

Inventory Controller / Material Controller

Hours – Site-based with hybrid working.

37.5 hours a week, Monday – Friday – hours can be flexed, circa 8-4pm

We are a pioneering design and manufacturing organisation with a new, highly innovative product range. Due to growth and further expansion, we are looking for a talented Inventory Controller to undertake a varied and pivotal role as part of our close-knit team. As such, you will have the ability to make a real difference and be a key member of the team as we continue to develop.

As Inventory Controller you will maintain control of a dynamic and fast-moving inventory as the business continues to grow, essential to both operational success and customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities as Inventory Controller will Include:

  • Managing and optimising inventory for both the Oxfordshire site as well as other UK manufacturing sites, and internationally
  • Ensuring stock levels for our products and associated components are both accurate and in line with production and sales forecasts
  • Monitoring inventory levels, creating replenishment recommendations and managing min/max stock
  • Leading hands-on stock control activities and collaborating cross-functionally across supply chain, production, and logistics
  • Coordinating regularly with overseas suppliers and logistics partners
  • Using the ERP system to maintain data accuracy and support performance reporting

To suceed you are likely to have:

Proven experience of inventory control, materials management, materials or stock control gained within a manufacturing/production environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of MRP / ERP systems and BOM (Bill of Material) management understanding
  • An eye for continuous improvement coupled with a hands-on mindset
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Ability to work across departments internally & externally, ensure first-class inventory management and supply chain continuity
