People Solutions is recruiting an Inventory Controller to join our client in Blackburn. This hands-on role requires strong organisational skills and experience in warehouse or manufacturing settings, with the potential for a permanent position.

The role involves daily stock counts, discrepancy resolution, and accurate recording using warehouse systems. You will collaborate with multiple teams and contribute to ongoing development and compliance processes.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel for stock records.
• Willingness to travel between two sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out regular stock counts, cycle counts and audits across both sites.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse systems.
• Liaise with warehouse, production and logistics teams.
• Support goods-in, goods-out and stock movement processes.
• Ensure stock is stored, labelled and recorded correctly.
• Assist with year-end stock takes and compliance processes.
• Analyse stock data and identify inventory issues.

Inventory Controller - Blackburn

People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Inventory Controller to join our well-established client based in Blackburn.

This would suit applicants who have worked as a Stock Controller, Inventory Clerk or Stock Administrator or Quality Control Operative.

Rates of Pay:

• £13.50 - £16.50 per hour DOE

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday
• 8-hour shifts
• Flexible working hours between 08:00 and 18:00

Your duties as an Inventory Controller are:

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an Inventory Controller, you will need:

• Previous experience in an inventory, stock control or warehouse administration role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Confidence using inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel
• The ability to travel between two sites when required
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• A proactive, reliable and well-organised approach to work
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
