Job summary

Sysco Belfast is seeking Inventory Operatives to process drivers' paperwork, code and stage returned products, and enter data into our warehouse management system. This role involves working across temperature zones and flexible 5/7 day shifts.

The candidate will handle labeling, returns coding, and pallet placement while adhering to HACCP policies and safety standards. Excellent numeracy, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• PC skills: Excel, Email and Word; familiar with WMS systems.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Must identify product and determine quality per HACCP guidelines.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Make sure drivers & customers have signed all pages of invoices and returns.
• Keep records of driver paperwork errors.
• Check all assets returned by driver and ensure proper coding.
• Enter data into the warehouse management system.
• Operate an electric pallet truck or forklift to move product.
• Follow SSOW/SOPs and report unsafe conditions.
• Daily cycle counting and inventory integrity across zones.
• Maintain a clean, orderly return area and communicate issues to management.
