Qualifications

  • 2-3 years’ experience in inventory control position.
  • Experience with ERP systems, especially QAD.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Inventory Control Coordinator is the main contact for any issues regarding researching or executing inventory movements and reconciliations in and out of inventory at our 54th Street warehouse facility.

SCHEDULE: Hours for position are 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (Flexibility on hour)

WAGE: Hourly range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00 per hour, subject to all taxes and withholdings.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure receipts and shipments are transacted daily, including P.O. receipts, sales orders, shipments, and D.O. requests, assist in allocation changes as needed.
  • Backup for warehouse functions (picking, printing picklists, receiving, cycle counting, etc.) as needed.
  • Confirm offsite/3PL sales orders.
  • Coordinates with Distribution and Procurement to resolve inventory issues as well as partnering with Tech Services and QA for testing of incoming shipments.
  • Researches and reconciles cycle counts. Maintain
  • Assists with confirming sales orders and any other Inventory Control functions as needed.
  • Performs backflush transactions and reconciles work center inventory at 54th warehouse, balances packaging cumes.
  • Research and reconcile virtual locations.
  • Assists Leads/Supervisors with miscellaneous inventory research.
  • Backup Inventory Control Supervisor as needed.
  • Able to operate warehouse equipment or willing to learn.
  • Assists in Annual Year End Inventory.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience highly desired.
  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in inventory control position or utilizing inventory systems to track, analyze or report finished good data.
  • Experience working within and extracting data from ERP systems, QAD .
  • Computer knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office; Word, Outlook, Excel.
  • Able to perform data entry in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Able to use a calculator and 10 key by touch.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others as well as independently.
  • Able to speak, read and write in English.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities are paramount.
  • Positive and proactive individual with strong problem solving skills.
  • Extremely strong accuracy and attention to detail is required.
  • Ability to successfully meet deadlines and work with minimum supervision.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work environment is that of a processing environment. This employee regularly works with hazardous machinery, materials, chemicals, wet floors and with wet equipment. This employee regularly works around high voltage, hot water, and steam

  • Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
  • Physical work includes climbing stairs, pulling hoses, etc.
  • Willing to work in a various-temperature environment
  • Ability to handle heavy objects safely and with proper body mechanics. Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and routinely maneuver objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to frequently talk, hear, and smell
  • Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust focus
