Inventory Control Assistant

We have an excellent opportunity for an Inventory Assistant to join a world leader in the supply of equipment and facilities to the service industry. The Inventory Control Assistant will be responsible for processing, branding, and barcoding all new equipment, along with other inventory-related tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities for the Inventory Assistant
  1. Unloading and unpacking all new deliveries to the receiving warehouse.
  2. Counting new stock upon arrival and matching it against received paperwork, highlighting discrepancies to the QC Co-Ordinator.
  3. Cleaning new stock for branding and barcode placement.
  4. Ensuring high standards when applying branding, barcodes, and RFID tags as specified.
  5. Engraving barcodes onto equipment as required.
  6. Accurately recording serial numbers in the system.
  7. Compiling and inputting relevant information for a complete and accurate inventory.
  8. Transferring equipment between locations, keeping stock segregated when necessary for correct shipments.
  9. Loading vehicles safely for stock transport.
  10. Conducting stock checks on consumables and advising the QC Coordinator to reorder low stock items.
  11. Performing cycle counts related to physical inventory processes.
  12. Supporting colleagues in global locations with inventory processes as needed.
Experience and Skills Required
  1. Previous experience in inventory or stock control fields.
  2. IT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office.
  3. Experience with inventory/stock control systems.
  4. Willingness and ability to visit or work in other worldwide locations when required.
