A well-known brand in Cumbria is looking to appoint a new Inventory Analyst to join their growing team. This role is based on-site at their Cumbrian manufacturing facility and is part of a large and successful PLC.

Your Role as Inventory Analyst:
  • Manage inventory based on demand forecasts, analyze inventory data, and ensure product availability for customers
  • Create and maintain forecast models, incorporating BI and internal data
  • Review sales trends, research demand drivers, and evaluate forecasting results
  • Reconcile activities to identify discrepancies and refine models accordingly
  • Ensure consistent product supply, liaising with third parties as needed
  • Contribute to supply planning and develop inventory strategies for existing, new, and discontinued products
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced IT skills (including Excel), and knowledge of demand forecasting and planning tools. Excellent report writing and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights effectively. A forward-thinking approach, commercial acumen, and a commitment to continuous improvement are also required.
