Job summary

PE Global is recruiting an Inventory Analyst for a global industrial manufacturer based in Stockton. This is a long-term 24-month contract and fully site-based in Stockton.

You will support logistics processes, develop flows to track lead times, and identify opportunities to reduce delays and costs. You will work with SAP ERP, analyze data in Excel, and report on shipment status and carrier performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning / inventory management positions.
• Supplier and stakeholder management experience.
• Handling and managing data with Excel, advanced Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support logistics processes for all modes of transportation.
• Develop processes to track lead times and identify opportunities to reduce lead times.
• Identify opportunities for cost, quality and service improvements for customer needs.
• Implement and maintain monitoring systems for shipment status, dates and delivery.
• Generate and analyze reports on transportation costs and carrier performance.

This is a long term opportunity – 24 month contract and fully site based in Stockton.

Duties of the role/Responsibilities

• Supporting logistics processes, activities, and customers for all modes of transportation.
• Assisting in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity and identifying opportunities to reduce lead times.
• Identifying opportunities for improvements including cost, quality, and service of customer needs and issues.
• Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date.
• Generating and analyzing reports of transportation costs and carrier performance. Planning and tracking lead times including compliance with related regulations.

Education/Experience

• Experience in planning / inventory management positions
• Supplier and stakeholder management experience
• ERP Systems experience – SAP
• Handling and managing data with Excel, advanced excel preferred
