Job description

Wholly employee-owned, Environmental Reclamation Services Ltd (ERS), is a team of >40 engineers and scientists dedicated to providing the most appropriate and cost-effective site assessment and remediation of contaminated soils and groundwater.

Trusted by Property Developers, House builders, Housing Associations, Local Authorities, Supermarkets, Loss Adjusters, Civils Contractors and Consultants, ERS’ projects range in value from under £5k to over £1m.

ERS is Property Care Association, Amenity Standard, CHAS and SMAS accredited.

Services include:

  • Environmental and geotechnical site investigation
  • On- and off-site remediation of contaminated soil
  • Treatment of contaminated groundwater
  • Invasive non-native plants identification and control.
Who we’re looking for…

ERS are currently looking for an enthusiastic professional to join our small team to assist with workload. We are looking for someone who wants to tackle the increase of invasive non-native plants throughout the UK.

Our ideal candidate will have:

Skills / Qualifications

Responsibilities include:

  • PA1 and PA6 Spraying Certificates (preferrable but not essential)
  • Horticultural knowledge (preferrable but not essential)
  • Basic landscaping knowledge (preferrable but not essential).
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
The Role Involves
  • Various control techniques of Invasive Non-Native Plants such as Japanese knotweed, Giant Hogweed, Himalayan Balsam and Rhododendron
  • Raising awareness on the environmental impacts of Invasive Non-Native Plants
  • Other general duties, as project needs require
Location
  • Glasgow and surrounding areas.
