Job Title: Intruder Service / Small Works Engineer
Location: London, Kent, Essex
Salary: Up to £40 - 45k / annum
Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
CBW is partnering with a leading provider of security systems to recruit an experienced Intruder Service / Small Works Engineer for their operations across London, Kent, and Essex. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer with experience in servicing and maintaining security systems to join a well-established company with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service and maintain Grade 2-3 Intruder alarm systems.
• Handle callouts and emergency repairs in line with industry standards.
• Install Dual path signalling units.
• Plan daily tasks and coordinate efficiently with office and field teams.
• Work independently on-site, ensuring work meets all necessary standards and client requirements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience servicing Intruder alarm systems.
• Strong knowledge of NSI standards for callouts and emergency repairs.
• Experience working with Dual path signalling units and Grade 2-3 Intruder alarm systems.
• Excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Working Area:

• London
• Kent
• Essex
• Occasional sites outside the primary working area.

Call Out Rota:

• Minimal emergency out-of-hours attendance (8-10 callouts last year).
• Callouts paid from departure to return home at an appropriate rate.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary of up to £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
• Additional callout standby allowance.
• Company vehicle and fuel card provided.
• PDA for work management.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (with 30-minute lunch break).
• Some additional hours may be required based on company needs.
• Travel to/from first and last appointments not included in working hours.
