Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking an experienced Intruder Alarm Engineer to install, commission, service and maintain security systems across Gloucestershire. You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs and provide technical support to customers on varied sites, including commercial, industrial, education and healthcare settings.

The role requires strong fault-finding skills, experience with different alarm manufacturers and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within the Intruder Alarm or Security Systems industry.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with a variety of alarm systems and manufacturers.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
• Professional and proactive attitude.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Installation and commissioning of intruder alarm systems.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance visits.
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently.
• Programming and testing security equipment.
• Responding to customer call-outs and service requests.
• Providing technical advice and support to customers.
• Completing service reports and documentation accurately.
• Ensuring work is completed in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
• Maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach whilst on site.

Intruder Alarm Engineer required in Gloucestershire. Salary: £32,000 - £36,000 depending on experience. Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Excellent opportunity to join an established and growing security business in a varied field-based role, carrying out the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of intruder alarm systems across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and residential sites. This position would suit someone from an Intruder Alarm, Security Systems, Fire & Security, CCTV or Access Control background looking for a long-term opportunity with a supportive employer.

Job Description:

The Intruder Alarm Engineer will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of security systems, ensuring customers receive a reliable and professional service at all times. Working across a variety of sites throughout Gloucestershire and surrounding areas, you will diagnose faults, carry out repairs and support customers with technical advice where required.
