Job summary

Arvato is seeking a Logistics Planner to shape modern intralogistics across multiple UK sites, including East Midlands Gateway and Coleshill. You will design warehouse concepts, analyze material flows, and engage with customers to deliver measurable improvements.

The role involves travel within the UK and internationally, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with opportunities to grow within a global Bertelsmann network.

Qualifications

• Degree in Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration with a focus on Logistics, or a comparable qualification with a strong logistics focus.
• At least three years of relevant experience in logistics and material flow planning, intralogistics automation, or related projects.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with planning tools; familiarity with simulation/visualization tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop intralogistics concepts for manual, semi-automated, and highly automated operations with focus on efficiency and customer value.
• Plan material flows, storage strategies and warehouse layouts using data analysis and visualization tools.
• Act as a key contact for internal and external customers to analyze requirements and present tailored solutions.
• Support project management from planning to implementation, including budgets, timelines and workforce planning.
• Collaborate in an international team to share knowledge and continuously improve logistics standards.
