Job summary

Urban Outfitters Europe is seeking a highly creative and technical Intimates Designer to elevate the brand's lingerie range in London. You will translate blue-sky ideas into balanced, commercially viable intimates, with mastery of fit, construction, and price architecture.

You will drive viral yet market-ready concepts across lingerie, jersey sleepwear, and woven lounge pieces, while collaborating with suppliers and the buying team to meet tight timelines and margins.

Qualifications

• True understanding of lingerie technicalities, including fit and construction.
• Experience designing across knitted/jersey and woven categories.
• Excellent CAD skills in Illustrator and Photoshop, plus hand-drawing ability.
• Ability to balance aspirational design with pricing architectures and margins.
• Broad knowledge of global suppliers and direct development communication.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage tight timelines and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Spot fast-moving micro-trends and translate them into aspirational yet commercial intimates concepts.
• Bridge high-level design ideas into actionable ranges across lingerie, jersey sleepwear, and lounge pieces.
• Produce factory-ready technical packs with precise specs, lace, and hardware details.
• Collaborate with Buying to design within pricing structures and margin targets.
• Communicate with local and global suppliers to guide development and approvals.
