Job Description:

We are currently interviewing for the position of Teaching Assistant in Woking, Surrey.

Location: Woking, Surrey

Hours: 8:30 – 3:15 (Full-time)

Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Teaching Assistant with SEN experience to join a dynamic team at a mainstream Secondary School in Woking.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring access to the curriculum and helping them reach their full potential.
  2. Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
  3. Assist in preparing and delivering learning materials and activities.
  4. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  5. Monitor and report on student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience working with young adults with SEN.
  2. Compassionate and patient approach to working with students.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  5. Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse student needs.
  6. Relevant qualifications or training in SEN (desirable but not essential).
