Overview

Link3 Recruitment are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Interventions Teachers to work across primary schools in Smeeton Westerby and surrounding areas, delivering high-quality booster sessions for children with lower ability. The role will focus on providing tailored interventions in core subjects (particularly English and Maths) to help pupils close attainment gaps and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver and assess small group booster sessions for children who require additional support.
  • Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to identify pupils' needs and adapt teaching accordingly.
  • Monitor and track progress, providing regular feedback to staff and parents.
  • Support the development of children's confidence, resilience, and engagement in learning.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold safeguarding practices at all times.
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in primary education.
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum, particularly in English and Maths.
  • Experience of working with children who require additional support or who are working below age-related expectations.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and behaviour management skills.
  • A commitment to ensuring every child succeeds.
