About the role

We are seeking to appoint an Intervention tutor to be part of our Mathetmatics Team, focusing on providing initial support to staff and students, and assisting in maintaining the organisation of the maths department.

We are looking for someone who:

·Someone with a strong interest in supporting students and staff.

·Has excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and accurately

·Is self-motivated to complete required duties and has the ability to work effectively as part of a team

·Has experience of using Microsoft Office Packages

·Has willingness and ability to obtain and/or enhance qualifications and training for the post

All staff are expected to know what to do if they have concerns about a child, take on the responsibility for providing a safe environment and promoting children’s welfare, undertake regular safeguarding and child protection training and, familiarise themselves with KCSIE part 1 and local policies and procedures as directed by the trust/academy.
