Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic Intervention Teacher to join a welcoming one-form entry primary school in Everton (L3). You will support pupils who require additional assistance to reach their full potential and help close attainment gaps.

You will plan and deliver targeted intervention programmes, work closely with class teachers, liaise with parents, and monitor progress to ensure interventions align with classroom learning.

Qualifications

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience delivering interventions or targeted support within a school setting.
  • Strong understanding of intervention strategies and assessment practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, parents and external professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify pupils who would benefit from additional academic support.
  • Plan and deliver effective intervention programmes for individuals and small groups.
  • Work closely with class teachers to align interventions with classroom learning.
  • Liaise with parents and carers to support pupil progress.
  • Monitor and assess the impact of interventions and adapt approaches as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide regular progress updates to relevant stakeholders.
