Intervention Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Secondary School – Romford
Location: Romford
Daily Rate: £85 – £130
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time Only

A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Romford is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Intervention Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students who require additional academic help, particularly in core subjects such as English and Maths.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group academic interventions

Support students with varying levels of need, including those with SEN and EAL

Assist teachers in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment

Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and pastoral teams

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working in a secondary school or with secondary-aged students

Strong subject knowledge, especially in English and/or Maths

A calm, confident, and empathetic approach to working with young people

A commitment to supporting the educational and emotional development of students

Please note: All applicants must have a clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection. An enhanced DBS on the update service is required for this role.
