Are you a recent Psychology Graduate looking to kick-start your career in the Mental Health Sector? This role offers an opportunity to support vulnerable young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs at a specialist school near Coulsdon. The students, aged 10 to 16, face challenges such as trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioural issues. The ideal candidate is empathetic, resilient, and experienced with SEN children or adults, or holds degrees in Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling.
Responsibilities include building strong relationships, being a consistent role model, and supporting students' mental health. The role is based in Coulsdon, with on-site parking, and offers an immediate start. Compensation is £80-£100 per day, Monday to Friday, during term time, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. Training, support, and CPD are provided to ensure safeguarding.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available. Travel to Coulsdon is required.
