Job Responsibilities

• Interpreting for legal, health, and local government services
• Checking understanding with non-English speakers after each sentence
• Conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
• Handling highly confidential information
• Liaising between service users and providers

Requirements

• Fluent in English and another language
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Age 21 or over
• Qualifications such as:
• Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI)
• Community Interpreting
• NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registration (advantageous)
• Degree in Translation, Interpreting, or Languages
• Other interpreting-related qualifications
• Flexible working hours
