The Job

Interpreting involves listening, understanding, and accurately reproducing speech from the source language into the target language.

You will:

• Interpret for legal, health, and government services
• Ensure the understanding of non-English speakers
• Perform conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
• Handle confidential information appropriately
• Liaise between service users and providers

Requirements

• Fluent in English and another language
• Legal right to work in the UK
• Age 21 or over
• Qualifications such as:
• Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI)
• Community Interpreting
• NRPSI, CIOL, ITI registration (advantageous)
• Degree in Translation, Interpreting, or Languages
• Other interpreting qualifications
