Job summary

A leading community service provider is seeking two dedicated Play Workers to enhance their team. The successful candidates will deliver inclusive play activities for children and young people with additional support needs, working flexible hours at the Play Hwb in Swansea. Applicants should possess a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Playwork and demonstrate a passion for empowering youth.

Qualifications

• Must be over the age of 18.
• Ability to work flexible hours is essential.
• A clear driving licence and access to own transport is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inclusive play and social opportunities for children aged 4-25.
• Work evenings, Saturdays, and weekdays during school holidays.

Interplay are looking for two new 25 hour Playworkers to join their current play team.

Play Worker x 2

The role is based in the Play Hwb in the Penderry area of Swansea, and would require the successful applicants to work Tues-Fri evenings, Saturdays and week day daytime during the school holidays, delivering provision in Swansea and Neath Port Talbot.

• You will need to be over the age of 18, able to work flexibility
• If successful, as part of the job role, undertake a playwork qualification
• Have a clear driving licence and access to own transport
• Be a Welsh speaker
• Hold a Level 2 or 3 in Playwork practice

Salary: £23,492 (pro-rata)
Hours: 25 per week
