Job summary

Oxford Lasers Ltd in Didcot, Oxfordshire, UK, is seeking an experienced International Service Engineer to support its global laser micromachining customer base. The role requires 2–3 years' service engineering experience and the ability to travel globally at short notice.

You will report to the Service Manager, work from our Didcot headquarters, and contribute to installation, equipment and application support. Knowledge of lasers and optics and strong fault finding skills are important.

The Position

We are currently seeking an experienced 'International Service Engineer' to support our global laser micromachining customer base. This role will suit someone with at least 2-3 years of experience as a service engineer wanting to develop a career in a high-tech industry. Ability to travel globally at relatively short notice is essential for this role.

The position will report to the Service Manager and will be based out of the Didcot, Oxfordshire, UK headquarters.

You will have the opportunity to work on leading-edge laser micromachining systems, from installation through to equipment and application support. You will be expected to contribute to and facilitate team collaboration and agile practices and to share your skills with the team and to support other engineers. A knowledge of lasers and optics, together with strong fault finding skills is important.
