Job summary

Gleiss Lutz, with more than 400 lawyers across our offices including London, is seeking associates to join our Dispute Resolution practice at our London office.

Your role will involve representing clients from Germany and abroad in international commercial and investment arbitrations and advising on cross-border disputes, with a focus on post-M&A and general commercial and business law. Members of our team also serve as arbitrators.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in dispute resolution.
• State examinations with grades of fully satisfactory (vollbefriedigend) or better.
• Business-fluent English, preferably acquired abroad. Other foreign languages beneficial.
• Additional qualifications such as an LL.M. or doctorate welcome.

Responsibilities

• Representing clients in international commercial and investment arbitrations.
• Analysing complex matters, providing legal assessment and developing litigation strategies.
• Advising on contentious situations and collaborating with colleagues from other practice areas.
• Focussing on commercial disputes, general contract and liability law and M&A transactions.
