Job summary

JPMorgan Chase seeks an AI/ML Governance Control Manager within the International Consumer Banking team. You will oversee the AI/ML governance control environment, partner with Technology, Compliance, Legal, Audit, and Operational Risk, and drive remediation and global programs.

This role emphasizes risk identification, control design, and governance reporting across geographies. You will own end-to-end governance processes, including issue management, regulatory interactions, and evidence

Qualifications

• Demonstrated subject-matter capability in AI/ML use case and model governance across the full lifecycle.
• Advanced proficiency in model risk management and applying controls throughout the lifecycle.
• Experience with bias detection and mitigation to ensure fair AI outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of AI regulatory requirements and internal standards.
• Experience in operational risk, internal controls, audit, and control management in complex regulated environments.
• Expertise in risk assessment, testing/validation, issue remediation, and governance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain AI/ML governance risk and control view for ICB CDAO, covering data privacy, governance, permitted use, quality, retention, storage, and analytics.
• Lead lifecycle management of AI/ML governance control issues from intake to closure and sustainability checks.
• Run governance control routines and reporting, including forums, MI, and executive updates on performance and trends.
• Define control expectations, inventory, testing, evidence standards, and performance monitoring; challenge design adequacy.
• Coordinate with Lines of Defense for consistent risk practices, including design reviews and issue management.
• Ensure alignment with policies, standards, and regulations; manage exceptions with monitoring and escalation.
• Lead control enhancements in response to firmwide initiatives and regulatory expectations across geographies.
• Coordinate audit/regulatory exams and responses; track and close actions with accountability.
