Job summary

The role focuses on coordinating subcontractors, delivering works safely and on programme, with long-term progression on a two-year secured project and further Southampton opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as Internals Manager, Finishing Manager, Construction Manager or similar.
• Strong experience on large-scale residential projects, ideally high-rise developments.
• Good knowledge of internal construction and finishing packages.
• Strong subcontractor and workforce management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and coordinate works effectively.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong understanding of health & safety and quality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day internal works and site activities.

Internals Manager

Location: Southampton
Salary: 250 - 280 per day
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role: An established specialist construction contractor is looking for an experienced Internals Manager to join their team and take responsibility for the internal works on a major high-rise residential development in Southampton.

The project is secured for approximately two years, with further projects already in the pipeline across the Southampton area, offering excellent long-term stability and progression.

The Role

As Internals Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the internal works across the development, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day internal works and site activities.
• Coordinating subcontractors and site teams.
• Planning and monitoring works against programme.
• Liaising with the main contractor, site management and project team.
• Ensuring works are completed to the required quality and specification.
