Job summary

Keane Premier Support Services South Lanarkshire is seeking compassionate individuals to support service users in the community, promoting independence and wellbeing. The role includes personal care, medication support, nutrition assistance, and light household tasks.

Full UK driving license is desirable; PVG scheme and two satisfactory references are required. Training and paid shadowing are provided, with clear progression routes and 28 days holiday pro rata.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; genuine passion for helping service users.
• PVG scheme and 2 satisfactory references required.

Responsibilities

• Support service users in all aspects of personal care.
• Support service users with medication where required.
• Assist service users to meet their nutritional needs.
• Carry out light house duties.
• Assist service users with finances as per company policy.
• Ensure service users have access to healthcare, if required.
• Utilise all communication methods to listen and talk to service users to promote their wellbeing.
• Encourage the relationships service users have with family, friends, and wider community.
• Be mindful of equality and diversity, and behave in a culturally sensitive manner.
• Be aware of adult protection issues and report accordingly.
• Report a service users progress on the correct platforms.
