Job summary

KES Power and Light Ltd in Southampton is seeking an experienced administrator to support the sales team. You will process customer orders, quotations and invoices accurately, respond to enquiries by phone, email, and in person, and coordinate deliveries with suppliers and logistics teams.

The role involves general office duties, filing, reception cover when needed, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is essential.
• Strong communication skills both over the phone and through email.
• Accurate data entry and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders, quotations, and invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Support the sales team with administrative duties and reporting.
• Coordinate deliveries, schedules, and communication with suppliers or logistics teams.
• Maintain office filing systems and ensure records are up to date.
• Provide general office support, including reception duties when required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide bespoke quotations as you progress in the role (full training provided).
• Effectively communicating with the production team to ensure customer requirements are met on bespoke projects (full training will be provided)
• Assisting with/covering stores when required (full training provided)
• Other duties as required by the business.

Established in the mid 70’s we are a leading manufacturer of power & electrical equipment, with customers throughout the UK and worldwide. From supplying the UK’s largest property developers, F1 teams to the film industry and music festivals, you will be working with a diverse and dynamic range of customers.

• Previous customer service experience is essential.
• Strong communication skills both over the phone and through email.
• Accurate data entry and attention to detail.

The position is 08:00-16:30, Monday to Friday with no evening, weekend or bank holiday working!!
