Job summary

Hallmark UK & Ireland is seeking a dedicated Compliance Manager to lead and maintain our certified management systems across ISO9001, BRCGS, Smeta/ETI, FSC, ISO14001 and H&S. The role centres on making compliance practical, training teams, and driving continual improvement.

You will work with senior leaders to embed customer and licensor requirements, plan external audits, and guide across sites to ensure ongoing compliance and quality excellence. Hybrid, with site work in Bradford.

Qualifications

• Degree/qualifications in quality management systems (ISO9001).
• Internal auditor qualification to ISO9001 required.
• Experience with BRCGS consumer products and ethical audits (Smeta/ETI).
• Background in manufacturing or distribution environments preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication and training skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams and influence others.

Responsibilities

You’ll be the go-to person for all things compliance, working across teams to translate standards into practical ways of working. You’ll guide, train and influence others to see the value in doing things well — and help us stay ahead of customer expectations, audit requirements and internal KPIs.

What you’ll be doing

• Own and maintain our certified management systems across ISO9001, BRCGS, Smeta/ETI base code, FSC, ISO14001 and H&S.
• Make sure customer and licensor requirements are clearly understood and built into how we work.
• Plan and manage external audits across our supply chain sites, ensuring successful outcomes and ongoing compliance.
• Use internal audits and system outputs to check compliance and drive continual improvement.
• Work with senior leaders to advise on compliance and quality matters.
• Train and support colleagues across the business to embed agreed processes and manage non-conformance effectively.
• Collaborate with third-party audit bodies and internal teams to keep everything running smoothly.
