Job summary

Hallmark Cards is seeking a quality and compliance professional to maintain our certified management systems across ISO9001, BRCGS, and related standards. You will steer external audits, translate standards into practical processes, and train teams to embed compliant ways of working.

You’ll collaborate with senior leaders to drive continual improvement, ensure audits meet customer and licensor requirements, and support business sites in Bradford and Brighouse with a hands-on approach to quality

Qualifications

• Degree-level education or formal qualifications in quality management systems (ISO9001) – essential.
• Internal auditor qualification to ISO9001 – essential.
• Experience with BRCGS consumer products and ethical audits (Smeta/ETI base code) – essential.
• Experience in manufacturing and/or distribution environments – desirable.
• Strong organisational skills, tenacity and a drive to see things through – essential.
• Excellent communication and training skills – essential.
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams and influence others – essential.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain our certified management systems across ISO9001, BRCGS, Smeta/ETI base code, FSC, ISO14001 and H&S.
• Make sure customer and licensor requirements are clearly understood and built into how we work.
• Plan and manage external audits across our supply chain sites, ensuring successful outcomes and ongoing compliance.
• Use internal audits and system outputs to check compliance and drive continual improvement.
• Work with senior leaders to advise on compliance and quality matters.
• Train and support colleagues across the business to embed agreed processes and manage non-conformance effectively.
• Collaborate with third‑party audit bodies and internal teams to keep everything running smoothly.

You’ll be the go‑to person for all things compliance, working across teams to translate standards into practical ways of working. You’ll guide, train and influence others to see the value in doing things well — and help us stay ahead of customer expectations, audit requirements and internal KPIs.
