Job summary

Brodies LLP is seeking an Internal Audit & Assurance Assistant to join the Audit & Assurance Services team. The role focuses on delivering risk-based internal audits across the firm and supporting data protection, information security, business continuity and AI governance initiatives.

Based in Edinburgh or Glasgow with occasional travel, the position offers hybrid working with office emphasis. The candidate may come from a compliance or risk background and seeks to move into internal audit

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scoping and delivery of internal audits per plan.
• Support development of audit programmes and testing approaches.
• Prepare concise audit working papers and findings withRoot cause analysis.
• Track management actions and verify remediation.
• Support data protection compliance activities and incident management.
• Produce audit and assurance content for internal communications.
• Support governance reporting with data analysis.
