Your Mission

As our Intermodal Transport Specialist, you'll be at the intersection of traditional logistics and breakthrough tech. We're looking for someone who gets excited about solving complex puzzles across rail, ocean, road, and air networks.

• Orchestrate seamless transportation flows across multiple modes
• Build relationships with forward thinking carriers and service providers
• Leverage our tech to track shipments while slashing both costs and carbon footprint
• Spot optimisation opportunities others miss
• Be the hero when disruptions hit, keeping everything flowing

• Connect with stakeholders to align our transport strategy with bigger goals
• Hunt down and implement money saving opportunities
• Help shape our tech roadmap with your real world insights
• Champion sustainability through smarter route choices

Crush the Data Game:

• Keep your finger on the pulse of key performance metrics
• Create insights that drive decisions, not just reports that gather dust
• Use our analytics tools to spot trends before anyone else
• Drive smart decisions on carriers and transport modes
• Team up with our tech squads to build better visibility tools

Connect & Communicate:

• Be the go to expert everyone turns to for intermodal knowledge
• Collaborate across teams from warehouse ops to customer service
• Build strong relationships with external partners that keep logistics flowing
• Document and share your wins so everyone levels up
• Help grow the next generation of logistics talent
• Experience with TMS and supply chain visibility platforms
• Skills in logistics planning software
• Knowledge of EDI/API integration for tracking
• Understanding of freight rating and cost modelling
• Familiarity with UK shipping regulations (including post Brexit)
• Experience measuring sustainability metrics

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Supply chain experience with some intermodal transport focus
• Real knowledge of how rail, ocean, road, and air shipping actually works
• Understanding of UK/European port operations
• Familiarity with international shipping docs and customs
