Duties & Responsibilities:

• Dealing with multiple drivers.
• Communicating with ports.
• Booking delivery slots for port entry.
• Using a transport system called TOPS to schedule drivers' start and finish times.
• Chasing drivers for ETAs and ensuring punctuality.
• Rerouting jobs as needed.
• Checking all PODs are matched with the correct jobs on the system.
• Informing customers about delays and providing ETAs.

Candidate requirements:

• Previous experience as an Intermodal Transport Operator – Essential.
• Confident and clear communicator – written and verbal.
• Excellent UK geographical knowledge.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Quick and efficient problem-solving skills.
• Organised at all times.
• Flexibility to meet business demands.
