Intermediate Structural Engineer

£32,000 - £38,000 (Dependent on experience)

Norse Consulting are looking to hire a Design/Intermediate Structural Engineer to play an active role in the production of high-quality structural engineering designs in the education, housing, leisure, and commercial sectors. The role would suit a pre-Chartered graduate engineer with a minimum of 2-4 years post-graduate experience who is looking to develop their design skills and experience as they move toward Chartered status, with full support from senior colleagues to achieve that.
In collaboration with the Associate Structural Engineer and the Engineering Director, this position is responsible for the structural analysis and design of projects within both 2D and 3D environments, the production of drawings, sketches, and specifications, and taking a lead role in the cross-discipline coordination of projects with architectural and building services engineering colleagues. Experience and a desire to develop skills in designing and coordinating projects within a 3D modelling space is required. The successful candidate will be given opportunities to develop and grow quickly into areas of greater responsibility and leadership where appropriate desire and skills lead.
