Intermediate-Senior Level Architectural Technician

Salary: 35-42,000 DOE

A nationally recognised, award-winning architectural practice is seeking an Intermediate to Senior Level Architectural Technician to join its thriving Manchester office. With a diverse portfolio spanning retail, logistics, commercial, residential, leisure, and mixed-use developments, the practice is known for delivering innovative, design-led solutions with technical excellence. Projects range from large-scale distribution centres and urban regeneration schemes to high-spec residential and retail parks, offering the successful candidate exposure to a wide variety of impactful, high-profile work in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

Daily Duties:

  • Leading the technical delivery of projects across a range of sectors
  • Producing coordinated technical drawings and construction packages
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities
  • Managing and submitting planning and building regulations applications
  • Conducting site visits and ensuring quality and compliance on site
  • Supporting project delivery to meet timeframes, budget, and design intent

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a relevant qualification in architectural technology or a related field
  • Substantial years of UK experience, with a solid grasp of technical delivery
  • Highly proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with a proactive mindset
  • Able to manage multiple projects independently and within a team
  • Experience across sectors such as retail, commercial, and logistics preferred
