Job summary

DAMICOR LIMITED is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a high-performing commercial team on an established SGN contract in the utilities/civil engineering sector. You will focus on NEC contracts, subcontract management and driving commercial success on large-scale works.

You will generate weekly revenue and cost reports, manage schedules of rates, and liaise with Operations to monitor progress and changes in scope.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in utilities or civil engineering.
• Experience delivering NEC contract schemes.
• Strong subcontract management experience.
• Background in utilities, gas, civil engineering, or infrastructure.
• Experience working in a high-volume commercial environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail.
• Mentoring junior commercial colleagues would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Generate weekly revenue and cost reports
• Control and monitor submissions of daily completed works
• Produce and manage Schedules of Rates
• Reconcile subcontractor costs and prepare payment certificates
• Liaise closely with Operations and Planning teams to monitor job progress
• Identify and manage changes in scope
• Review scheme works to ensure commercial and operational targets are on track
• Price completed jobs across high-volume works
• Analyse weekly and monthly cost and revenue data
• Monitor commercial performance and identify potential risks and opportunities
• Maintain accurate commercial records and ensure data integrity

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a high-performing commercial team working on an established SGN contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with experience in the utilities or civil engineering sector, particularly someone with a strong understanding of NEC contracts, subcontract management and high-volume works. The role will play an important part in ensuring the commercial success of the contract while supporting the delivery of sustainable and future-focused infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate weekly revenue and cost reports
• Control and monitor submissions of daily completed works
• Produce and manage Schedules of Rates
• Reconcile subcontractor costs and prepare payment certificates
• Liaise closely with Operations and Planning teams to monitor job progress

About You

Technical Skills

Microsoft Excel proficiency is essential.

You should be confident using:

• Excel formulas

• Data analysis and reporting

Experience working with large volumes of commercial data and maintaining accurate reporting will be highly beneficial.
