Job summary

Gold Group in Central London is seeking an Intermediate Planning Engineer to join a busy, established planning team. You will develop tender programmes, drive construction schedules, and support project delivery across a portfolio of schemes valued from multi-million to tens of millions of pounds.

Reporting to the Planning Manager, the role offers exposure to diverse projects and a structured career path within a market-leading main contractor with a strong reputation in the industry.

• At least 3 years of experience in construction planning.
• Main contractor background.
• Relevant construction qualification.
• Site-based project experience.
• Strong knowledge of different forms of contract.

Joining a highly experienced planning team of five and reporting directly to the Planning Manager, you'll play a pivotal role across the full project lifecycle - from producing winning tender programmes to driving projects through construction and successful completion. This is a dynamic, fast-paced role offering exposure to a diverse portfolio of major schemes.

With a booming order book, increasing tender activity, and positions on several major frameworks, the business is expanding its planning function to meet growing demand. Projects span a wide range of sectors including Commercial, Education, Residential, Healthcare, and Mixed-Use developments, typically valued between 10m and 100m.
