We are seeking an intermediate electrical design engineer with building services experience to join our existing MEP team supporting Blue-Chip International Brands.

Essential experience includes work in commercial/industrial, retail, residential, and education sectors. Automotive and clean/dry room experience is desirable.

The successful candidate will manage small to medium projects under the guidance of senior staff, developing and finalizing electrical design solutions, collaborating with team members, and liaising directly with clients and professionals.

The role involves:

• Conducting surveys and site inspections.
• Performing design calculations using various methods, including software modeling.
• Preparing drawings and technical specifications.
• Writing technical reports and peer reviewing designs.
• Managing project teams and workload.
• Overseeing project budgets and client relationships.
• Identifying new business opportunities.
• Fostering personal and professional development, including mentoring team members.

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of building services consultancy design experience.
• Degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (Chartered or working towards).
• Proficiency with software such as Microsoft Office, Amtech, Dialux, and Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Knowledge of British standards and regulations.
• Professional memberships (CIBSE, IET, IMechE).
