Job summary

Pertemps TM Winchester is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to deliver electrical building services design across a varied portfolio from residential to commercial. You will be based in Winchester, Hampshire, contributing to projects from initial design through to completion.

You'll collaborate with clients, contractors and the design team, progressing projects and growing into greater responsibility while developing technical knowledge and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working within an MEP consultancy or similar environment.
• Good understanding of electrical design principles.
• Experience producing electrical designs and calculations.
• Knowledge of relevant British Standards and Building Regulations.
• AutoCAD and/or Revit experience.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical building services design across a varied range of projects.
• Work closely with clients, contractors and other members of the design team, contributing from design through to completion.
• Take increasing responsibility for own projects while developing technical knowledge.
