Job Description:

An opportunity has arisen for an empathetic Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our client's NHS trust in Cheshire for a full-time temporary role within the Community Intermediate Care team.

The Occupational Therapist will work as part of a community intermediate care team, managing their own caseload efficiently. The successful candidate will be HCPC registered with relevant qualifications and preferably previous NHS experience in an intermediate care setting.

To be considered for this role, Occupational Therapists must have:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • A relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy
  • Previous NHS experience in an intermediate care setting
  • The ability to build good rapport with patients
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Duties include:

  • Devising rehabilitation programmes to develop skills
  • Writing clear and concise notes
  • Working autonomously
  • Handling equipment to assist with daily living
  • Providing advice for carers and parents
