The Position
You will be an integral part of leading a project team to deliver multidisciplinary building services and environmental design projects. You will support and oversee projects with clients to develop detailed briefs and produce reports for mechanical building services requirements, outline design, scheme design, and detailed design reports including drawings and specifications. You will also integrate sustainability and carbon emission reduction strategies into projects.
You will supervise an expanding team, allocate workload, review outputs, evaluate progress against time and budget constraints, and mentor junior staff for career development.

About You
You should hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline, and be Chartered with IET or CIBSE. You should have proven experience in an M&E team within a design engineering consultancy. Skills should include electrical systems and equipment design, calculations, drawings, and familiarity with Revit and IES. Knowledge of the wider built environment, legislative standards, and sustainability practices is essential. You should understand technical standards, planning policies, British Standards, and Building Regulations.
