Job summary

Hippo Digital is seeking an Intermediate Delivery Manager in Manchester to lead and embed agile ways of working across multi-disciplinary teams and clients. You will run ceremonies, remove impediments, and help teams deliver products and services with a user-centred mindset.

As a natural people leader, you’ll mentor teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement while travelling to client sites as needed within a flexible hybrid UK setup.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering digital projects in agile teams.
• Knowledge and experience of Agile and Scrum working practices (Scrum/Lean).
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams of various configurations and sizes.
• Experience with collaboration and project management tools.
• Understand user-centred design principles and practices.
• Experience working with a range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the on-site delivery team, ensuring motivation and collaboration.
• Embed agile ways of working and run ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, reviews, retrospectives, show & tells).
• Identify obstacles and help the team overcome them.
• Track and manage team risks and dependencies.
• Help the team focus on priorities to deliver the product or service.
• Encourage continuous delivery improvement and mentorship across the team.
• Coach team members in agile and lean techniques.
• Foster strong relationships with team and stakeholders.
