Position details

Position: Interior Plant Maintenance Technician
Location: Livingston
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £25,732
Reporting To: Team Leader

The Role

Working as an Interior Plant Maintenance Technician, you will carry out maintenance of tropical plants within a wide sector of businesses, ensuring the best possible service is provided to our ever growing customer base. This is a busy, fast paced role where you will be working with a friendly and welcoming team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading company in the interior and exterior planting sector where progression and development are encouraged.

Your main duties

• Watering, feeding and pest control of live plant displays
• Replacing dead, dying or overgrown plant displays
• Maintain artificial plant displays
• Assist with plant display installations
• Assist with seasonal installations
• Ensure all maintenance dockets and documentation are completed
• Comply with relevant health and safety
• Building good supplier and customer relationships
• Be mindful of possible sales opportunities

Qualifications & Experience

• Full UK drivers licence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work as part of a team
• Plant knowledge would be advantageous
• Qualification in Horticulture is desirable but is not essential
• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous; however full training will be provided

• Ensure that the clients are always completely satisfied
• Initiate suggestions to improve the organisation\'s performance
• Complete timesheets and other paperwork and ensure all is handed in promptly
