This steadily growing design studio is looking to bring on an Interior Designer immediately, as they continue to secure new UK-based workplace, residential and mixed-use projects.
Position:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior to Midweight Interior Designer to join a creative mid-sized-studio based in London. The role offers exposure to a variety of dynamic projects in the commercial and residential sectors, particularly workplace, with involvement across all stages from early concept through to completion.
This position provides a genuine opportunity to grow and develop under the guidance of experienced senior designers and studio leadership. It would suit someone with a strong design sensibility who is looking to build confidence, take on more responsibility and grow within a supportive and ideas-led environment.
Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of similar project experience within wokrplace or other commercial sectors. You will have a solid design foundation and be ready to take on more ownership across concept development, drawing packages and FF&E specifications, with support from senior team members.
You should be confident contributing to team meetings, liaising with suppliers and supporting on site stages when required. A good eye for design should be matched by developing technical competence. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit, SketchUp and Adobe CS is essential, along with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
Studio:
With an ethos underpinned by creative collaboration and fun, this studio value bold and ambitious designers who aren’t afraid to step out of their comfort zone and contribute to all aspects of practice life.
