Overview

Interior Designer, middleweight or senior, commercial design – hybrid work in Swindon office with regular travel to projects and clients.

Responsibilities

• Translate briefs into thoughtful spatial ideas that are creative and commercially viable.
• Lead or contribute to the design and delivery of commercial projects to create beautiful workspaces, depending on level.
• Tell a visual story through decks, boards and presentations that connect with clients and stakeholders.
• Provide accurate, buildable design packs and drawings; coordinate drawings and details.
• Work with clients, suppliers, consultants and team, maintaining dialogue from first sketch to final snag.

Qualifications

• Around 3+ years in commercial workplace design and fit-out; proficient with floorplans.
• Sharp eye for space planning and clear visual storytelling.
• Solid grasp of UK regulations and how to apply them efficiently.
• Comfortable with AutoCAD and Adobe CC; SketchUp or Revit would be nice to have.
