Job Description:

MAF Bedrooms & Kitchens Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Designer to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for utilizing their expertise in CAD / Microvellum software to streamline our design and manufacturing processes, ultimately contributing to the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Microvellum software to create detailed and accurate designs for bespoke bedroom and kitchen projects.
• Collaborate with the design team to translate client requirements into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.
• Conduct site visits and final measure ups.
• Generate accurate cut lists, material lists, and production drawings using Microvellum software.
• Optimize workflow processes within Microvellum to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Provide technical support and training to team members on Microvellum software usage and best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest developments and updates in Microvellum software to ensure optimal utilization of its capabilities.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure seamless integration of design specifications into the manufacturing process.
• Conduct quality checks on designs to ensure adherence to company standards and specifications.
• Assist in the development and implementation of new design strategies and techniques to enhance product offerings.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all design-related activities.

Requirements:

• Must have a driving license.
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience working with CAD / Microvellum software in a professional capacity, with a focus on designing bedrooms and kitchens.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative problem-solving abilities.
• Prior experience in the furniture manufacturing industry is advantageous.
• A keen eye for design aesthetics and trends.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
