Job summary

MostonRECRUIT is seeking an Interior Designer to join our team and deliver commercial interiors across the UK. A hands-on role with an emphasis on design, technical drawings and FF&E specification.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years’ industry experience and a degree in Interior Design, with strong AutoCAD/SketchUp skills and a willingness to travel to sites around the UK.

Job description

We’re looking for a talented and motivated Interior Designer to join our team and play a hands‑on role in delivering exciting commercial interiors across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a designer with 2+ years’ industry experience who wants to develop their creative, technical and practical skills within a fast-paced commercial environment.

The Role

• Specify internal finishes, fixtures, furnishings and equipment (FF&E) across a range of commercial projects.
• Source furniture, accessories and styling elements with a strong eye for design and detail.
• Support the Lead Interior Designer with SketchUp visuals, AutoCAD drawings, furniture layouts, joinery drawings and FF&E specifications.
• Prepare furniture and accessories for project installations, including picking, packing and organising items for delivery.
• Attend sites across the UK to support interior fit‑outs and ensure projects are completed to a high standard.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver projects efficiently and consistently.

About You

You’ll ideally have:

• A degree in Interior Design or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years’ industry experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Previous site and interior fit‑out experience.
• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• A collaborative, hands‑on approach and confidence working across office, warehouse and site environments.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
